Construction workers continue to make progress at the new dog park site. Random dogs from around the neighborhood have been seen loitering around the site, marking their territory in anticipation of the opening. Owners can’t wait as well.
Many residents have asked us about the expected completion date for the park. Below is a schedule that we received from the Redevelopment Agency that outlines the schedule.
Dog Park Schedule Highlights:
Block wall – underway
Tree delivery/installation – begins 4/7/09
Hardscape – begins 4/13/09
Fence Installation – begins 4/27/09
Deck work – begins on 4/28/09
Overhead benches – begins 5/1/09
Landscaping installation – begins on 5/13/09
Construction completed: June 13, 2009
